Paul McCanny

An experienced PGA Professional, Paul spearheaded the team at Killeen Castle as the First Head PGA Professional and Golf Manager, a position that saw Paul host the 2011 Solheim Cup.
Joining Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links in 2021, Paul has a keen interest in the development, support and coaching of golfers, both experienced and the next generation alike. Paul led the team during 2021’s Irish leg of The Challenge Tour, making history as the first Irish Links course to ever host the tournament.
Paul’s passion for the sport began when he took on his first role at Black Bush Golf Club, an appointment that turned his passion into a career.
Paul lives in North County Dublin with his wife and their two young daughters.
